Rajasthan Royals Foundation (RRF) initiated an engaging effort for women on March 8, 2025 for the occasion of International Women’s day. This initiative is solely focused on empowering women for promoting sustainable changes among different communities. This initiative has emerged as the Pink Promise initiative in which 100 rupees form every ticket sold was donated.

This makes them appear generous towards women, for spreading awareness about their rights in India. To highlight their initiative, the team launched a pink-jersey for the much awaited Pink Promise in IPL 2025. A tagline is also promoted “Aurat Hai TOh Bharat Hai” to highlight the importance of women in Indian culture. 

The CEO of RR Jake Lush McCrum, has several views to express on this initiative led by RR. According to his testimony, the Pink Promise initiative has been ongoing from over six years. However, with Pink Promise this initiative has been taken towards a global level, inspiring millions of people. 

Alongside this, every six RR hits will be donated towards lighting up six homes in the Sambhar region with Solar Power. The purpose of such an initiative is to promote women and their importance in society. 

The MI vs RR match in IPL 2025 has resulted in launching women empowerment initiatives, even after the defeat of RR. Out of the 31 matches played in this season, RR has won 14 of them and lost 16. Despite their defeat, RR still continues to support this initiative, impressing its fans worldwide.
